Bulgin has announced RIA's latest screw terminal PCB terminal blocks. Called SpringCon they are available in both single part, with PCB terminals, and two-part PCB connector versions.

DT Electronics announces an expanded range of 10 Base-T, 100 Base-T and Gigabit Ethernet connectors. New options for each type include integral USB connectors, power-over-Ethernet connections and built-in LEDs for status indication.

Edac has added to its range of D-Subminiature products with an ultra-slim, 15 circuit, high-density, R/A, VGA connector. The insulator thickness, behind the front shell, is just 4.7mm.

Bulgin’s smallest waterproof connector, the 400 Series Buccaneer, is now available in a PCB mounting panel version. This new version, the PX0413, is rear panel mounted enabling the connector to be soldered directly to a PCB then offered up to the panel and secured using a single panel-fixing nut.

Bulgin's FireWire Buccaneer provides a high degree of environmental sealing for FireWire connections using standard IEEE 1394a interfaces with data rates up to 400Mbs. Dust and waterproof to IP68, the connector system is ideally suited to industrial and hostile environments where a high data rate, combined with a robust and secure connection, is required.

AWS Electronics has produced and supplied fully assembled and tested complex cables to General Dynamics United Kingdom Limited (GD UK) for BOWMAN. The BOWMAN communications system was introduced into service in early 2004 and delivers a step-change in capability over the Clansman family of radios, through its security, data capability, reliability and resilience against Electronic Warfare (EW) attack.
