High voltage applications often demand resistors with high resistance values that can withstand significant working and overload voltages.

Engineers seeking thick film chip resistors for such applications may face challenges when trying to find components with the precision needed for tight resistance tolerance and TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) tracking.

To address these needs, Stackpole has introduced its new HVCD high voltage chip dividers, designed for precision high voltage applications. These chip dividers offer excellent stability and low noise, thanks to their single-device design and low TCR tracking, with values as low as 25 ppm. Available in chip sizes 3512, 4020, and 5020, the HVCD series supports voltage ratings ranging from 2kV to 4kV and divider ratios of 100:1 and 1000:1.

The HVCD's high stability, precise tracking, and robust performance make it ideal for a range of applications, including high voltage power supplies, medical equipment like patient monitoring and medical imaging systems, instrumentation, defibrillators, as well as for test and analysis equipment, data acquisition, communication, and monitoring systems.

Pricing for the HVCD varies depending on factors such as size, tolerance, and TCR. For detailed pricing information, contact Stackpole or any of its authorised distributor partners.
