Measurement Computing Corporation has announced a low-cost USB analog input device. The USB-1408FS provides 8 single-ended or 4 differential analog inputs, 14-bit resolution in differential mode, 13-bit resolution in single-ended mode, 8 software selectable input ranges, with sample rates up to 48 kilosamples per second.

Utilizing a standard 9V battery as the power source, the Model 735 and 732A from B&K are hand-held sound level meters and incorporate an easy to read, back-lit LED display for clear reading in the darkest environments.
